NBA (National Basketball Association)

NBA First Round of Playoffs

This first round of playoffs is said to be the best first round ever. Every game my husband watched I couldn't pull his attention for anything. For two weeks straight we had eight over time games, four of which came from Oklahoma City vs. Memphsis (four over time games in a row has never happened in NBA history) Yes, it was that good. Before we talk about what teams have moved on to the second round, we must first learn who started in the Playoffs.

The NBA is split into two different sections called conferences, you have the East Conference and West Conference

NBA East Conference Teams:
Indiana (1)
Miami (2)
Toronto (3)
Chicago (4)
Washington (5)
Brooklyn (6)
Charlotte (7)
Atlanta (8)

** The numbers next to them represent their seed, a.k.a who is the best in order and they play each other, the way the first rounds go is first seed plays the eight seed, two seed plays seven seed, and so on.

NBA West Conference Teams
San Antonio (1)
Oklahoma City (2)
L.A. Clippers (3)
Houston (4)
Portland (5)
Golden State (6)
Memphis (7)
Dallas (8)

No you know who started in the Playoffs now it's time to see the highlights and what EVERYONE is talking about.

  1. Damian Lillard- Started at Weber State in Ogden, Ut and now plays for the Portland Blazers, hit the game winning 3-point shot. The ball was passed in at .9 seconds and he made it work. Check it out
